- Cottage Cheese
- Applesauce
You can attempt to eat soft foods when the numbness is gone.
You can Increase your Diet as Tolerated UNLESS otherwise specified by your doctor.
Additional Information:
- If the corners of your mouth are stretched, they may become dry and crack. Your lips should be kept moist with Vaseline
- Sore throats and pain when swallowing are not uncommon. The muscles can get swollen and the normal act of swallowing can become uncomfortable. This will typically subside in 2 to 3 days
- Stiffness of the jaw muscles may cause difficulty in opening our mouth for a few days. Do not force your mouth open. Massage the muscles and apply moist heat
